Nomad generation (pragmatic survivors)

Definition

Strauss-Howe archetype: generational cohort born during an Awakening era (childhood coincides with institutional challenge + cultural upheaval). Pragmatic, cynical about institutions, individualist, tough. In mid-life during Crisis era, they tend to execute operations, broker deals, and absorb hits — not visionary like the preceding Prophet elders. Example cohorts: US Gen X (1961-1981), Lost (1883-1900), Gilded (1822-1842), Cavalier (1618-1647).

How to read this

A mover is a specific actor, signal, policy, or event whose behavior shifts which fork a prediction takes. The direction tag on each prediction row shows whether this mover tilts the odds toward Timeline A, Timeline B, either side, or only under specific conditions. See the method for how leverage is scored.
